Individual Serenity Care

Individual Serenity Care is a non profit organization providing funding, support and education for children and adults with disabilities. Through participatory involvement with trained professionals, volunteers, family and friends people with disabilities can have the opportunity to live a happy and healthy lifestyle. By engaging individuals with disabilities and advocating for rights and social skills that open doors to new opportunities in their community. Guided by principles, ethics and the Lanterman Act Individual Serenity Care are helping individuals live up to their full potential. (The Lanterman Act declares that persons with developmental disabilities have the same legal rights and responsibilities guaranteed all other persons by federal and state constitutions and laws, and charges the regional center with advocacy for, and protection of, these rights.)
